Just an update.
January 24th, 2011
I really need to put a little more effort into updating this. Before I became a stay-at-home dad, I would've thought updating MY blog would've been easy, but this is hard work! Sebastian is so much work, but he's so much fun. I hate that I lost my job, but spending this time with my almost 2 year old (can you believe it?!) son is great. I feel like we've gotten even closer than we were before.
It was my birthday yesterday. I'm 30. Pretty crazy, huh? Well, maybe not for you, but it is pretty cool for me.
Well, according to Sebastian, I'm done updating. haha. I hope I will be able to update this sooner than a month from now! Have fun!
Christmas Time!
December 26th, 2010

Does snowing the day after Christmas still count as a White Christmas? Probably not, right?

It's ok, Sebastian had an amazing Christmas then for an extra present, he received a White Day-After-Christmas! He loved the snow, he ran around, hopped around, laid down in it, kicked over a snowman... it was an overall wonderful experience.
Watching Sebastian rip open presents and seeing the joy on his face was one of the happiest experiences I've had this year! I hope you all had wonderful holidays! Oh and make sure you check out Sebastian's special way of saying Merry Christmas!
Kirby's Epic Yarn.
November 29th, 2010
Everyone who knows me, knows that I love gaming. I've been gaming since I was 3 or 4! With that being said, this is actually the first Kirby game I've ever played.
Kirby's Epic Yarn is definitely aimed at younger audiences, but it's fun for adults to play, even if you're only playing it for the art style. Normally, Kirby is a pink ball of pinkness, but in this game he eats some kind of fruit and is turned into a piece of yarn. The whole game looks like it was created in the fabric section of a Michael's. It's just really fun to look at and experience. The music is also really peaceful and relaxing. It's the kind of game you can just pop in and play for a few hours or a few minutes and just get lost in the cuteness and peacefulness of the music and art.
Not for everyone, but if you're curious, you should definitely give it a try!
Asheboro Zoo.
October 23rd, 2010

This past summer we went to the Columbia Zoo, ever since then a co-worker had been talking about the Asheboro Zoo, so we decided to go. It was a lot of fun, although the entire zoo was uphill. They had a ton of animals. It was a fun trip, I really loved that place. Sebastian had a wonderful time too, well, up until he fell down. Kids are amazing, they can trip and fall, get a nasty bruise, and just smile at you like everything is ok, once they stop crying.
Sebastian's trip to the farm.
September 18th, 2010

This past Saturday we took a little family trip to "Aw Shucks Farm" in Monroe, NC. It was a pretty neat place, although it was WAY too hot to be outside that long. Seriously, how is it still 90+ in September... but anyway, the farm was a cool place. There was a Turkey that scared Sebastian pretty badly, of course Jenny thought it was hilarious. They had a corn maze, which was interesting... it would've been a little more enjoyable if it wasn't SO HOT... I think the three of us just wanted to get out of it as fast as possible. Now that I am looking back on it... there really wasn't all THAT much to do, but it was still a fun little family trip. :) Maybe we'll try again when it's not a billion degrees. Below are pictures of Sebastian trying to eat a pumpkin, among other things.
